Anybody who has watched this 1994 film may instantly correlate the flow of events that are about to get clicked from my keyboard. It is a nice little movie about a young beautiful girl adopted by a rag who had a past of rich. In the event of his life the father of the girl repents for his mistake and tries out his best to win back his daughter. In the event the rag is about to loose the case because of his pecuniary conditions but a twist of fate earns him his lost fortune and his daughter.
What a simple yet powerful story to have believe on destiny. Today, in the morning when I took the newspaper from my balcony a face in the corner of the twisted newspaper foretold me that Jade Goody is no more. I came to know about her existence through that in (famous) incident happened during “Big Brother – London Version”. Our Indian contestant Ms Shilpa Shetty got so much sympathy from that episode that she went on to become winner of that contest. Whereas Ms Goody because of her racial abuse was ousted from the Big Brother’s house, unceremoniously.
Later, she landed in India amid a lot of protest to participate in India’s Big Boss contest and had to fly back to London due to detection of cervical cancer. If my memory does not fail me all this things happened just a few months back. Now, everything has slipped to history with death of Ms Goody at a most unlikely death age of 27.
So, a small twist of fate and everything can change in our lives either way. Anyway, the God give solace to her soul and her bereaved family.
